After spending two years at the Ecole du Feu de Valloris in the pottery and ceramic decoration section, Brigitte Millet founded her workshop with her husband in 1995. She went on to develop a style all her own: slender men and women, imbued with nobility and grace, bringing to life the ethnic groups of the world, with an obvious preference for those whose clothes and ornaments are the most colourful.
Asia, Africa, India… Her figures are an invitation to travel to the land of colors. The lines and faces are barely sketched, and yet everything is said… The accuracy of the attitudes, the refinement of the colors, the precision of the costumes bring these silhouettes to life and evoke distant lands and cultures in a striking way.
